I'm Annie Basile, a diploma-qualified Graphic Designer from Sydney, with a love for logos.
My path into graphic design began when I first met Photoshop back in 2002 while working on a website. It was love at first site (I like to think the feeling is mutual). Like all true loves, my love for design has grown, from an infatuation to a passion.

Experience
As well as other assorted design projects, I was the in-house designer for CIVT, an online post-graduate veterinary college and later for Tempe Tyre and Wheel Centre, a leading auto industry retailer. I also created page layout design for The Music Network magazine, Filmink's digital magazine and The Veterinarian magazine, which I also edited.

I've worked in online newsrooms as a content producer for Ninemsn (the now defunct joint venture between Channel Nine and Microsoft), Yahoo!7 and BigPond. These roles included curating slideshows plus selecting, editing and optimising images for the web. It was working with images on these sites that led to my interest in graphic design and photography.

Graphics programs
I am proficient in the latest versions of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Camera Raw as well as Adobe InDesign CS5 and Corel Painter. Additionally, when Adobe just isn't enough, I use Topaz Labs.
